About Dr. Karin

Karin Jespersen, DAHM, EAMP | Founder + Lead Acupuncturist

My first experience with acupuncture literally changed the trajectory of my life. I felt aligned, dynamic, in touch with my body, and called to pursue a career in the healing arts. It ultimately led me to earn a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAHM) from Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine.

Over the course of my education, I gained expertise in pain management, sleep disorders, GI concerns, women’s health and infertility, and anxiety and stress management. My doctorate research focused on the effectiveness of acupuncture in reducing stress and pain in the workplace.

I also gained a wealth of knowledge from the wonderful Ryan Law of Gentle Point, where I worked from 2019-2023; when Ryan left the area, I took over the practice and founded Chee Dynamic.

My education and experience play key roles in my practice, of course, but the other cornerstone is my upbringing: When I was growing up, my parents operated the only dental clinic in our small Midwestern town, and I saw them create an environment where patients felt respected, heard, and understood.

Their dedication has always inspired me, and their thoughtful, inclusive approach still resonates with me. Today, I strive to serve my Seattle community and neighbors the same way they served theirs—with care and compassion.
